Problems with the game crashing
So, i have not even been able to play this game because of instant crashes. The game crashes when i go to options and the game crashes when i try to start a campaign.
I tried installing the newest drivers, didn't work.
I tried to backtrack to older drivers that were released nov 4th, didn't work.
I tried starting the game using GeForce Experience with optimal settings, didn't work, tried again but with even lower settings, didn't work.

So what the hell is the issue?

My specs:
Intel Core i7-8700 CPU 3.2 GHZ(12 CPUs)
Ram: 16 gb
Graphic card: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Windows 10 64 bit.

Odd haven't had a single crash. Running latest Nvidia drivers.

UNinstall GFE and the driver with DDU and download the latest from nvidias website and install the driver without GFE.

So that error is a basiclly saying that for some reason the application was unable to extract the game files out of the pak files (its like a zipfile for games).

You could also try getting a Pak Extractor app and extracting the pack manually to see if there's issues with the file, it could be corrupted or a bad download (repair the game?), or perhaps you do not have enough space to exract the files as that pak file is 12gb so whatever is inside is larger than that.

That said other people are having the same issue, and there is a bug report on EA's website for the game for this issue already.

Good luck

Yup did a game verification and found the file corrupt and redownload the file. Now I have no problem.

I have the exact same issue and re-verifying and repairing the installation either through Origin or Steam does nothing!!! Is anyone else still dealing with this?

That may help but most of the time I crash there is no crash report info anyways so I guess i'm stuck waiting until they release a patch for all of these stability issues.

having an issue that makes it crash when learning a move to do, it was once during the tutorial of using xp points and now it is with the dash strike move so i think those things are corrupt for me?

Do you run Sophos antivirus? if so add exclusions .. or jsut do it anyways in your anti virus . I find this with a few respawn based games. (apex for one)

Maybe it's because of the antivirus? When I was using the windows security one, every game I play crashes for no reason. Then I switch to the Bitdefender one and the crashes never happen again.

Found the solution in another thread. Just set the date of your computer in 2019. It is this dumb.
