The issue is sometimes being able to walk around but nothing else for a second or two. It felt similar to the Dark Souls animation locks yet I was not in an animation.
As I said before it was 100% unplayable and was fixed by switching from Borderless Windowed to true Full Screen. I've put an additional 16 hours into the game and never once felt like I was fighting the game rather than fighting the enemies which is the exact opposite of how I felt for the first 3 hours.
You're not having the issue, for that be happy.
However, this is a computer game. Computers, unlike consoles, are all different and having a top end computer only guarantees the potential to run software well. The devs will either release a patch that will fix it or Nvidia (in my case) will release a new driver that will fix it.
Sadly going fullscreen for me instead of borderless window is incredibly buggy for me :/ Curse you multi monitor setup!
You would want to run it in full screen boarderless window with Nvidia Surround or Eyefinity as the Aspect ends up messed up (with this title).
make sure you have the latest drivers
I am running fine in boarderless window @5760x1080 (triple wide 27" 1920x1080 screens)
GTX1080Ti
Solid 60FPS locked FPS and Vsync
(Appart from some dodgy parts of some maps at certain camera angles)
This is a real old PC over 5years now
Windows 10
i7 4790K
32GB DDR3 2400Mhz
Seperate sata SSD's for OS and games
a GTX1080Ti
No OC on CPU doesnt need it to play games.
Marginal OC on GPU 60Mhz and 600Mhz on memory
So nothing special here at all.
I don't want the game on all my monitors is the problem. I just want it on my one 4k monitor. But for some reason it decides to stretch to the two monitors on my sides. My GPU is a 1080ti btw
That's not what happens when I run fullscreen though. It glitches out hard and tries to stretch on all screens or half on one and half on the other. To be honest, this theme seems to be standard for me when it comes to EA titles.
Has there been a patch for this?
Regardless of being in full screen mode the issue still occurs for me.
I have noticed something.
When I first launch the game, combat controls work great, but after about 20 to 30 minutes of game play that's when the controls stop responding. I've tested with three difference mice, two keyboards and two controllers. Same for all.
I've been in plenty of situations where I parry an attack and go to counter attach, but mb1 isn't being recognized. Or I go to attach and run up on an enemy to do a leap a attack and the game doesn't recognize that I'm pushing mb1. Same thing happens when blocking. I begin to hold me block, and after two hits my character stops blocking. My stamina didn't run out, nor is the enemy red stating an unblocking hit is coming. My character just stops blocking. I will have to release the button and press again, but that's no guarantee that I will block. Then I am unable to dodge or jump.
When the controls get like this I have to restart the game and the controls are good for the next 20 or 30 minutes.
This makes me think there is some sort of memory leak causing this problem.
I average around 97fps at 1440p, on epic gfx, I've lowered the graphics, but that had no effect.
