How do I delete my save slots?
There needs to be a in-game option to delete and/or overwrite save games.

You can also manually delete your saves in the game folder here:
%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Respawn\JediFallenOrder\

which translates to something similar to this:
C:\Users\{username}\Saved Games\Respawn\JediFallenOrder\

depending on how your system is set up.

Just get rid of the save(s) you don't want until a proper option is added to the game.

Agreed, this should be a clear option in the load menu. Anyway, the game so far is great.

Hi! I asked EA about it. They said that since this is a new game there is no such option. However it may be possible in the future.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

@molnarg1102 @EbonHawk thanks a lot for the info. It's just like having to tamper with config files in Castlevania Lords of Shadow in order to start a new game. It's not a big deal but I can't believe something so basic is left out of the game.

You also need to delete the "Backuip0#" file in there too. After doing that, I started the game. I have it on EA's Origin launcher. It then asked if I wanted to sync my Cloud Saves to Local. Or Local to Cloud. Since my local is now the correct way I want it, with having deleted the SaveGame0# and Backup0#, I choose to have my Local be copied to Cloud. Game started. Old save game files were now gone.

I have found a new solution. I deleted the files while the game was turned on. And the next time I started the game, files didnt appear again. But thanks for help :)

Is it possible to rename the local save temporarily and start a new game which will create a new save point. Then switch between save 1 and 2 by renaming accordingly?

I tried this today, but I did not get the "sync cloud to local or local to cloud" option. The only way I can delete saves and not have Origin's cloud replace them, is to completely disable cloud saving.
Is there another setting I am missing? Or has Origin changed the way cloud syncing works, since this post was made?

At my folder are files called backup sav and save sav.Which of them should delete?
EbonHawk Jul 22, 2021 @ 10:04am
Copy the entire saved games folder somewhere else, then delete everything in the original folder...

Start the game like you want and save a game, then exit out.

Then, go to that copied folder you made, and select all files and drop them back into your original folder. When it asks if you want to overwrite or keep, select the option to keep the current files.

This puts everything back the way it was, except that new saved file(s) you made in the game, those will still be there intact.

And you have a backup of all of the originals in the copied directory, just in case.

Yeah, the other proposed way to do it didn't work for me but this did. Thank you so much!
