You can also manually delete your saves in the game folder here:
%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Respawn\JediFallenOrder\
which translates to something similar to this:
C:\Users\{username}\Saved Games\Respawn\JediFallenOrder\
depending on how your system is set up.
Just get rid of the save(s) you don't want until a proper option is added to the game.
You also need to delete the "Backuip0#" file in there too. After doing that, I started the game. I have it on EA's Origin launcher. It then asked if I wanted to sync my Cloud Saves to Local. Or Local to Cloud. Since my local is now the correct way I want it, with having deleted the SaveGame0# and Backup0#, I choose to have my Local be copied to Cloud. Game started. Old save game files were now gone.
Is there another setting I am missing? Or has Origin changed the way cloud syncing works, since this post was made?
Start the game like you want and save a game, then exit out.
Then, go to that copied folder you made, and select all files and drop them back into your original folder. When it asks if you want to overwrite or keep, select the option to keep the current files.
This puts everything back the way it was, except that new saved file(s) you made in the game, those will still be there intact.
And you have a backup of all of the originals in the copied directory, just in case.
Yeah, the other proposed way to do it didn't work for me but this did. Thank you so much!
