Hey, i feel your pain. If you have an NVIDIA card, you can actually turn on the NVIDIA Sharpneing filter from the Control Pannel, and it makes a world of difference. Images look very crisp and clear. Even more, the game supports Freestyle, and it lets you even add custom filters in-game to mess around with.
I can't believe that works. Thank you! Game looks so much better now.

Don't talk out your ass, TAA makes games look like ♥♥♥♥
IF you read the acedemic paper of SMAA you will see that its porpuse is to get results close to MSAA while being less resource intensive, whole porpuse of SMAA is to be a "cheaper" version of MSAA, and its a good technique, but MSAA is still better for visual quality.
Motion Blur is in the normal game menus somewhere. I kept it on in the end because for whatever reason things were worse without it.
