Can't buy because of EA's Anti-cheat software

Due to being banned from BF V (I Played one round for ten minutes and and was banned for cheating) I will not buy this because I can't trust EA and the anti cheat they use.

Sorry to tell you and a lot of people agree with me,EA sucks,they are trash and their games are getting worse,but one thing is certain.Their anti-cheat is good.I really doubt that it was a mistake.

Alright so you played battlefront and you got banned due to cheating. From what I've gathered in this thread you claim you didn't cheat (despite what other people are saying). Because of the ban you won't buy Fallen order. I hope I got all the facts right.

If thats the case, what you're doing right now wont help you at all my guy. You're basically barking at the wrong tree. Refusing to buy Fallen Order won't un-banned you from battlefront especially since they're two different games. Also you have to take into account that tons of other people are buying the game so you're not exactly making a dent in their sales.

What you gotta do is keep contacting them and keep fighting for your case. If that doesn't work, well it truly unfortunate at that point. There's nothing to do than move on. Make a new account and hope the same stuff doesn't happen again.

Either way, you're fighting your battle at the wrong place and that is not going to get you anywhere. If you're not addressing the problem at its core, you're fighting a pointless battle

first off this is a single player game so there is no anti cheat or anything liek that as it is not needed or rquired.

ive been pc gaming for over 20 years my steam account is 15 years old i belive and i've never been banned.

altho i did get worried when i built my new system i upgraded from a i7 4770k to a ryzen 3900x with asus motherboard crosshair 8 hero. intealled a fresh windows and reinstalled my games from uplay etc. I went to go raid with my friends in division 2 and there easy anticheat warning poped up sayting the rgb software wasnt allowed heart in month moment whilst i was looking for the software in my task manager. Thinking the warning might lead to a ban.

but i seems that easy ancheat banned some software like that and it was justa warning nothing more.

the moral of the story is you could of had some software running background that got u the ban or u used a cheat engine on another game and still had it hucked in. how can ea be to blame when they have tried and tested software for looking for hooks and programs etc.

you are responable for the ban noone else sorry to say it but its your own fault

You have it right. I never bought BF V I trialed it on a free weekend. I have purchased all the other BF's and have never been banned or accused of cheating in any other game really not just EA games. I wasn't going to buy the game anyways it's just the principle to me. I don't hope to get un-banned because of this post or any other post. EA had made it clear to me that the ban will not be lifted


Still others should know that it could happen to them. Maybe not in this single player game it could but probably not. I really wanted this game and was going to buy it this morning. However when I realized it was EA I thought I'd share my experience with the community.

I sent you a FR just so you can see my profile. I don't remember the reason i made it private. I guess it doesn't matter. I believe you can look up my infraction history if there was a history of infractions. Just in case you really think there is a correlation between my profile on steam and me claiming that I was wrongfully banned on a non steam game.
