Graphic bugs
I have a lot of graphic bugs. sometimes I only see the character and the rest is black. also the rain is really bugged (the whole screen is full of black (rain) spots. the game crashes a lot too, I have a Nvidia 1080 and also a very new CPU, can I do anything or do I have to wait for patches?

When is the last time you updated your video drivers? That's usually the case for most people experiencing graphical glitches.

I updated it yesterday and checked again today that everything is up to date. Thank you very much for the quick answer anyway. I think the problem is somehow texture error. I have already repaired the game twice. But nothing is better

I would try changing the 'window' options. Try fullscreen or windowed, or windowed fullscreen. Possibly an HDR issue too.

I have the same card, and I have the same exact error, the game isn't playable at all for me, what a load of crap.

looks fine to me

There is more corruption in those photos than the black areas. Could be missing textures. Verify your files.

Update. Just tried downclock my graphics card. Had it on "gaming mode" and set it to "silent mode" which downclocks it a little bit. Issue went away and have not returned since. Could be worth trying :)
My card is a Nvidia Geforce Asus Strix GRX1080 using Asus GPU Tweak to control it. I just changed the profile to Silent to eliminate the issue (thumbs crossed for it not returning)

Just adding that I have the same issue and on reddit there is more people with this issue. Seems to affect rain, smoke, light shafts and similar effects.

Unless my edited comment does not notify those who follow this thread. My solution still have helped me and the issue has still not showed itself again. So read my updated comment about downclocking my graphic card and how that helped... atleast me. I had not "overclocked". I just used ASUS own profile. So for you having this issue, try lowereing the clock speeds of you card and se if you also can solve the issue :)

Also have/had the same issue. Using the Gigabyte software to lower clock speeds didn't work in my case.
I had to enable Debug Mode under Help in the Nvidia Control Panel. That apparently sets the clock speeds to Nvidia defaults.

Just out of curiosity, do you have one of the Xtreme Gaming 8G cards? It seem to be an issue with those. I have a Gigabyte 1070 Xtreme Gaming and the other people reporting this issue on the EA forums have different manufacturers but all are Xtreme

I'm getting something very similar, but not as bad.
Did you solve it? Without going to the lengths talked about here, messing with clock speeds and so on? Because I never touch that at all.
