I just task manager'd origin and re opened it on steam and it launched for me.
About message ebisu_client_linking_code_expired_body

It's because of Family View

Disable Family View

I just downloaded the game and I can't play it cuz I can't create an Origin/EA account. Everytime I try it says they are experiencing tech difficulties and too try again later. It's so stupid how I have to go thru EA and Origin to be able to play the game.

I think everyone is having issues like this tho cuz so many ppl r trying to login in and play games at once, especially with the new release of Jedi. It's overwhelming their servers.

Whatever the problem is tho, they better fix it or I'm just gonna have to refund it and wait till issues r resolved before repurchasing it again.... if problems ever do get resolved that is.

Just locate game files in Origin
Steam apps > Common > fallen order folder

I had it, tried launching directly from the .exe file only to find the game opened in origin and wanted me to start over. EA gonna EA.

I was able to resolve the issue by launching origins game launcher. There was an update through origins for Jedi fallen order which I downloaded. Once done, I was able to launch the game through steam without any issue. Hope this helps some folks as I was perplexed as well.

I was having some similar issues and none of the solutions people were claiming to have found online worked for me. What eventually fixed the issue for me was changing the high DPI settings for EALink.exe, which runs when you try to launch the game. The application can be found at C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin, or wherever you've installed Origin. Right click on the file, select Properties, select the Compatibility tab and then click Change high DPI settings. At the bottom of the menu that appears, select the checkbox beside "Overide high DPI scaling behaviour." Finally, select System from the dropdown menu. Hope this helps some others.
