all i can do is walking, jumping, remapping etc. nothing else works and i can not play the game.

Original Xbox 360 controller, Original Xbox one Controller, Thirdparty Xbox Controller, EchtPower Nintendo Switch Controller, and the Original Switch Pro Controller.

If you wanted to use a controller so bad. why wouldn't you get on console. sure, you lose graphics a bit but on new-gen consoles it will still look good.

Must be your PC as i have an Xbox One controller and it's working fine.

The game recommends using a controller just like Dark Souls does.

installing a Game and using one of my controllers where i play almost everyday many different games with them.

Weird, Xbox one controller working fine on my end, wireless and wired.
Have you tried reinstalling the controller drivers again?

Third person games are mostly best played with a controller. Plus, I don't want to play with lower graphics quality on console.

My controllers are working just fine.. i can walk around and everything except of using any buttons. can not remap them or anything else.

Reinstalled the game now and they work fine.
