God-Tier Optimization
Don't be afraid of this game just like Red Dead Redemption 2, the optimization is amazing, you can get 35-40FPS on a 1050 TI with a i5-7*** on EPIC (Ultra) Settings!!

What's you problem with RDR2?

Been playing it for days, no issues on a 2 year old I-5 and gtx 1060. it's not even on an SSD.

Runs great. Maybe you people should clean up your rig once in while.

Optimization begins in the home..

I think you're mistaken. He's saying that RDR2 has really good optimization, just like this game.
And ssd's really don't make a difference performance wise since the read/write is low for video games unless it's loading a level. So it's not a bottleneck concern.

Just because it worked for YOU it doesn't mean it's working for everybody else, the game holds a 3.7 on Metacritic just because of the trash optimization.

uummm actually rdr2 has horrible optimization. just watch the gamerx nexus video on it. Mine crashes at least once an hour on a fresh win 10 install a 3700x, 5700xt, 32gb of 3600mhz ram, nvme m.2 pcie 4.0, yadda yadda . Game runs fine when its running at around 70/80 fps on ultra textures and mainly med/high settings at 1440p.

" The rockstar launcher crashed "unexpectedly"

Red Dead 2 is one of the worse pc ports of all time. I don't care what anyone says, that game is a trash port and it deserves all the hate its getting. As for this game, yes, it seems they did a great job on the optimization. I just wished they added more graphic options seeing how we don't get a lot to choose from. No options for depth of field, reflections, ambient occlusion and a few others. Also, is it possible to turn off anti-aliasing completely? I hate TAA and/or FXAA seeing how they coat everything with a blur filter to it.

Unfortunatly, there are a lot of people encountering stuttering in this game. Such as myself.
So I would not say its perfectly optimized. After a quick Google this seems to happen on PC and console. Stutters is usually always in the same spots and it is a bit of a breaker for me due to this game being a lot about well timed blocks and dodge.

But I am sure it will get worked on I am sure.

These stutters happens on a i9 9900k, 2080ti, 32gb ram on a SSD.

It just needs more time, they released it early to beat the holiday rush or something. if you can a.) launch it and b.) dont have a certain cpu/gpu combo that has freezing issues, then the game looks great and plays great

You crazy. You can't even max out RDR2's setting even on 2070 / 2080 and get stable 60 FPS. There's already many Youtube videos showing that. Stop lying.
