Game won't start no matter what

I double click the shortcut and steam briefly opens a window that says something I can't read before it closes then nothing, I try to launch it from origin (I bought it on steam) but origin just restarts (or maybe it's refreshing, not sure), I try to launch it from steam and the green start button switches to that blue launching icon before giving up after about 5-10 seconds, then nothing. Sometimes it automatically pulls up origin, which still performs as mentioned above. I smell EA's typical inability to fix their technical issues all over this.

My specs meet the recommended requirements and every other performance intensive game on my pc is working fine, I tried verifying the integrity of the files, restarting my pc, restarting steam and origin, reinstalling the game, I even found starwarsjedifallenorder.exe in the files and set to launch as administrator and disabled the fullscreen optimizations (something I read online).

If you have any other ideas about how I could get the game working they would be very much appreciated! Thanks for your time

Hello, I had the same issue where it wouldn't start up at all. When I first tried to launch it it would ask if I would allow the game to make changes to my system. Then it would start to load it thru origin cause, EA, and then it would stop.

The first thing I did was verify game files. It didn't change anything. When I tried running it again there was some message involving origin detected on system and stopped it thru steam. So what I did next was force quit out of origin. Then I ran the game through steam and it loaded.

Try this for yourself to see if it works. It might, might not. But I can launch the game now so long as I keep origin closed in the background when I launch it from steam.
