Stuck at swinging ball puzzle wind thing.

So I climb up to switch, switch wind on, then switch it off to let the ball in chain thing swing towards me, slow ball, switch on wind, slow ball again, run to side a bit, slow ball again then jump and hold on to it. Then when it swings up to the other side I jump which then for some reason always (about 15 tries now) sends me flying back into the same room you start the boring, frustrating puzzle in. So I have to climb up and try it all over again.
I swear between this and the outside respawn point if you die at any where I'm about done with the frustration of this game.

Never mind. I didn't have to switch the wind back in the end. Just a few second blast of wind was enough to get it swinging far enough.
