How do I access the map?

The prologue was fun, if confusing for me and not what I expected. Mapping was so easy in Witcher 3.

So, how do I get the map? Is there a minimap too?

You can access the map when you reach Bogano and meet the little Droid. Check in your settings to see which bjtton/key you have the map mapped to.

It is confusingly crap.

Not often in games you don't get a default map, so not realising you need to get so far in until you get the companion who provides it is understandable.

I was also pressing m and getting confused.
