Kashyyk boss battle

So I have been stuck here for some time in the battle with the ninth sister on Kashyyk. I've watched some youtube videos which have helped quite a bit as far as strategy. I know about avoiding the unblockable attacks, etc.
At this point I get really close to defeating her. I get her health bar down almost to nothing, then when I try to deal a death blow it goes into a quicktime instance where we lock blades, after which she delivers this propeller attack that I can (seemingly) neither block or dodge and kills me with one blow regardless of how high my health bar is. I think my problem is not knowing what to do in those quicktime instances where we lock blades. Sometimes an X will come up on the screen and other times a B will come up on the screen, but pushing or holding those buttons seems to do nothing.
What am I missing?

idk, didnt had such problem...feels off....not sure but I think I press always the attack button in those cases or hold it then press what they ask, or nothing and wait what they want me to press but sorry it was ages ago....tho it may be some bug or what :/...wonder if pressing push would do something there...

It's a QTE. You have press the button as fast as you can when it tells you to, not just hold it down or press it once. And yeah, they're annoying and I don't think I've ever met anyone who likes them. I think there's an option to turn them off though.

You can turn off the QTEs if it continues to be a problem. Others have brought this same issue up before.

Well, rapidly pressing the indicated button during the QTE was the solution. I defeated the ninth sister and it was a really quick battle with all the practice I've had. I have moved on to the next stage of the game. Thank you so much!!!
