How to play offline?

I lost internet connection for awhile and realized the game will not start through Steam unless it also logs into Orgin. Extremely frustrating that a SP game like this needs online verification to play.

Does anyone know how to enable it so I can play offline?

I believe you can play Origin games offline however you must sign into Origin with an internet connection and then set Origin to offline mode. This is kind of annoying but is the only solution.

To set Origin to offline mode you need to:

1. Launch Origin and sign in
2. Tap on Origin up the top left corner (to the left of the Games tab)
3. Tap "Go Offline"

Once all the above steps have been completed, you should be able to play offline. A possible solution to having to sign in first with an internet connection could be using Mobile Data to just sign in then set Origin to offline mode.

I have it on origin and can play with no internet connection, it automatically starts in offline mode, I just need to enter my password... I always just get the game on origin if it needs origin to play it.. avoids issues like this.
