Bogano Workshop Door bugged

Hi there guys, I've come across what I think is an annoying bug, but wanted to check if anyone else had a similar issue.

I've progressed quite a bit in the the story, unlocking the scomp link , however the door by the corkscrew path in the Abandoned Workshop area refuses to open. I see the panel next to it, but it won't let me access the room or splice it open using the BD-1 scomp upgrade .

Has anyone else had this issue at all? The inner completionist in me is kinda annoyed that I can't get in!

The outside door only opens from the inside. When you go around the other side and up the stairs, BD-1 should open the door. If not, quit the game or load last check point. You may also have to verify game files thru Origin. Not Steam.

This has happened to me a few times. Some locked box's would not open either. Those were the things to get things working.

Seems your also missing a few more secrets on Bogano. Try and get those 1st. then try the door again.

I've seen videos online where people just walk up to the door I'm trying to access and it'll open. Besides the stuff in the Workshop area, I've got everything else in Bogano, the map tells me as much. Verifying/Repairing my game files now, and we'll see if that works. Thanks

EDIT: Well after file verification and loading back in, it finally let me access that room. Thanks for the help, much appreciated!

Welcome, some times just a simple verify game files is all it takes to fix a bug. Glad you found your way.

On-line videos don't always tell you what you need to know. Towards the end of the game you will return to Bogano, there is a wall run to a landing, where you see the big dino looking thing. it's under that. I had to have a friend show me how he did it just cause there were no videos of it.

I was having this same issue and couldn't find anything to help besides this! I saved, closed the game, and verified the game files through Steam. Loaded back in and had the option to splice the door. Thank you!!!

I had this on one of my later play-throughs. Reloading save wouldn't fix it, but totally exiting the game, relaunching it and then reloading did fix it.
