Just rewatch Star Wars movies that you like.
The prequels never made the Original Trilogy story and character arcs pointless. It expanded Star Wars from what it was. Also PT at least had a idea that how the force really works unlike Disney Trilogy.
The only hate that prequels get are from the fans that just wanted to get some dumb movies full of lasers and explosions.
So those fans just decided to nit pick prequels to death in order to criticize them.(Which is completely stupid since by nit picking you can completely destroy every movie and even OT movies)
Those fans also criticized prequels for not having enough fan service stuff in them.(Which is why they prefer clone wars over them since clone wars is filled with fan service stuff.)
If something, Disney has proved that using fan service in movies result in much weaker storylines.
The themes of TLJ are actually really good, the problem is the humor, some weird story decisions, and it tries to resolve too many things for being a middle film.
In comparison, I think the theme for TROS is supposed to be that where you come from doesn’t determine your destiny. Except, Rey’s power is only explained by her bloodline so that kind of ruins the message. As does her changing her last name at the end since, according to the message, it shouldn’t matter what her name is.
Lost was interesting in the 1st season, suspicious in the 2nd and then after that it was clear he had absolutely no idea what he was doing with the story and that it was written on the go. This show was a complete disapointment.
