How do I change the skill tree category?!

I feel naive saying this, but I really can't figure out how to switch from the lightsaber skill tree to survival and force. I have pressed every button on my xbox controller. What am I missing?!

You just move through the skills with the directional pad.

It won't move past the lightsaber skill tree.

I had thought maybe I had to unlock them, but I've almost finished the lightsaber tree and every forum implies I should have had access to them all from early on. I just killed the 9th sister, have double jump and don't have access to anything but lightsaber skills. Is that correct?

You should have access to the other two skill trees at least to some degree. I'm just getting to kashyyyk and can learn some skills from survival and force. This is quite puzzling... do you have another controller you can try?

I do, but it works in every other respect. I've made it this far as a lightsaber specialist, I guess....:/

Right click on the game in your library, Properties, Local Files, and then click verify integrity of game files. If this does not clear it up, try using a keyboard to move around the skill trees (read about someone who experienced an issue similar to yours and this did the trick).

The Verify Integrity is greyed out. I tried re-installing, and that didn't help either. Keyboard didn't work either.

Arik, I'm dumb. Thanks for your help. I thought the "Survival" and "Force" on the sides were prompts for a completely different screen. I realize now that it's just labels for that side of the tree. Duh.
