Still it may work. Somehow haven't really tried that yet.
The easiest way so far is to just runaway, but again - you need react the second you see it, otherwise it'll catch up to you. Also what EbonHawk advised also kinda works, but wastes a lot of Force.
Im also pretty sure if you're to close you cant really avoid it on grandmaster. Its too fast.
that's the dumb thing - first few times I've encountered these droids I was able to stop their charge attack with push no problem, same as with inquisitor bossfight on Kashyyk, but later for some reason I kinda "lost" ability to do that.
First force push upgrade has pretty fast charge time, but third one needs like double that duration to charge up fully so I just don't really have time to react appropriately, unless I slow down the droid.
imo its one of some moves they didnt really thought out in the combat.
