What should Cal's canon lightsaber color be?
I think it should be orange because he's a filthy redhead.

Cannonically Purple matches his character. the crystals choose the Jedi and in the lore, each color matches a personality type or profession. Purple is strong willed but with a temper / easy to anger. Think Mace Wendu for example. He had a Purple saber.
