Help on Dathomir

I just got the game. Ran to Dathomir and not sure how to get back to ship? Do I just keep going forward to get back or are there shortcuts back to your ship somewhere?

Pretty impossible to tell you if we dont even know your destination. But there is somewhere many shortcuts. Just open your map.

Figured out how to make the rope swing long. Ugh.

if your gonna enter Dathomir early in the game, don't try and venture to deep. sure you can get back to your ship, you may even pick up a few extra skill points. it won't break the game and maybe you'll take a beaten here n there from the locals finding those short cuts. but it will be fun.

Early Dathomir is basically you go forward until you need a double jump, which you won’t have, then just backtrack the same way you came for the most part.

The only reason to do Dathomir early is to get a certain lightsaber upgrade a planet sooner. It’ll be to the left after going through the shortcut doors, starting at the meditation point after the ropes.

what saber upgrade?? maybe a force skill and bot upgrade. but the saber upgrade is at the back end of the map. unless i blinked. clue me in plz.

You can get the double bladed lightsaber upgrade there just before meeting the man in the cloak.

That way you can have it for the first mission on Zeffo.

Really, I just run the 1st mission on Zeffo, then return to Bogano and get it that way. Now I have it when I enter Dathomir for the 1st time. Interesting path's we take, huh.
