Origin is a shtty platform! I have numerous problems when playing EA's games and they don't care about how players feel. Give it up...

I had the same problem. I tried everything suggested. This worked for me, uninstall jedi then install it through origin not steam. Then launch it through origin. origin seems to have a conflict with the steam app. I agree that origin (EA) is screwed up. the problem is not with steam but origin. may not buy anouther EA game again. been tring to launch jedi for a month.

I managed to get an older version of Origin running. But now I am missing the excutable "link2ea" ... So I still cannot run the game. The problem I have seems to be linked to the most recent version of Origin, so I cannot get this executable without Origin crashing ...

How did you manage to run it through Origin ? The game won't even appear in my game list, and I am not sure on how to get the CD key.

why is steam selling a game that won't play through steam............

if i could access a cd key, i could install through origin but i'm not paying for the game twice and will be asking for a refund soon.......

You know how much games are on steam like that? Assassin's Creed for example runs via uplay :P

I deleted the origin that I installed in steam and installed origin from origin web site. If you installed jedi in steam and ran origin before uninstalling jedi. it should be there. if your having trouble launching the origin you had to download from steam, delete it and install origin from origin website. It is unbelievable that origin did not test this out before release. Too many people are having this problem. those that are not having this problem I'm guessing may already had origin on there computer. I could be wrong.

try setting to 1920x1080 and launching. the origin mini-app that logs us in wouldn't run for me at 1440p and you should only need to do it the first time (unless you get logged out of the mini-app for whatever reason)
