So, are the force powers fun?
Similar to The Force Unleashed games that had the best force powers in Star Wars game ?

In TFU you had so much creative ways to use the force. For example with force Grip:
-You could throw enemies into walls/explosive barrels.
-You could smash them to the ground or to the ceiling.
-You could instead use that to throw objects at enemies.
-You could make an enemy grab a dark trooper(Which you couldn't grab) and drop both of them into a pit.
-You could turn them into a grenade(By using lightning while gripping them) and throw them into a group of enemies and kill them all.
-Due to euphoria every animation of enemies being thrown was different.(Which made it even more fun to use)

Another example, TFU 2 also had a very fun mind trick ability:
-You could use mind trick to make enemies do suicide jumps.
-You could mind trick 2 enemies and make them hit each other to death.
-You could use that to turn them into friendly npcs.(Which was the only use that mind trick had in JK games)
-And in the final version of it, enemies that were mind tricked would explode.

So, are the force powers in JFO this fun ?

Well for starters you only have 3 (slow, push, pull) force powers. Those in and by themselves cover alot of what your asking. So it's not so much what they can do, it's what you can do with them. force energy is better put to use by helping you get from point A 2 B and less in combat.

Sometimes having less can be better then too many. You start throwing in more powers then your running out of keys.

It's not as fun sa TFU because the mana pool and regen is so low you can't play around your powers the whole fight

So, no destructible environment and no push charge ?

Also doesn't slow make it unbalanced ? In JK 2 and JA force speed was kinda like that and made the whole stormtroopers in the room a piece of cake.

imo they could make the force abilities selectable in a menu like Witcher games signs.

So, the main character is weak in the force.

Slow disappears on hit and drains so much force power.

But yea he's weaker than Starkiller

Cant even dodge roll spam /s

Loved force speed in the OG Jedi Games. Remember Force Destruction and the deadly sight thing in Dark Forces 2 and Mysteries of the Sith? So fun.

Unfortunately I never used them since I chose the light side.

Imo it was a mistake to make players gain an extra force experience if they find all the secrets in the level. It isn't really fun they should have given that when players finish the level.

The game exists within the canon of the series and you play as a Padawan who never finished his training. You know what he knows. There are select destructible environments usually as part of a puzzle but it's not TFU. It's also not a God of War clone.
Wereriche 14. jan. 2020 kl. 2:57
Yeah, it's a skeleton clone of The Surge /s
Trypticon#3 14. jan. 2020 kl. 5:05
No, barely used them.
