Faulty SSD maybe? Do you get the issue in any other games?
turn off any un needed background programs running..
play off line...could be the Origin or Steam program screwing you up
Well, like I said, that could have something to do with it. Obviously you can try playing the game while not streaming and not having anything running in the background except obviously Steam and Origin and see what happens. If you still suffer from the problem, it could be something else. Antivirus? Malwarebytes? Anything you shouldn't be using while playing any game, in other words. Oh I just realized, do you have an older SSD? Because if it's old, they weren't exactly made with standardization, and are known for erratic behavior.
Never defrag an SSD - defrag is only for HDDs. It only decreases the lifespan of SSDs.
(explanation: https://www.howtogeek.com/855293/should-you-defrag-your-ssd/ )
Actually, as of Windows 10 and newer SSD's, windows built in 'Defragment' app knows how to work properly with SSD's. It's not actually moving data all around on the SSD like it did / does with HDD's. And, the only reason it 'used to be' considered 'bad' is cuz SSD's have a life cycle for number of writes to each memory cell. This number isn't even an issue for home PC users and usually only becomes relevant in a corporate setup where data is constantly being stored to drives as people work. A home PC user will probably never write enough data to an SSD to wear it out before they end up upgrading to some new technology 5 or more years from now. So, defragmenting (even in older apps) shouldn't be an issue. But, With 10 and later, it's just doing a performance optimization anyway. Basically like running the TRIM commands manually cuz you opted to... as opposed to waiting till down time. Now, that's with Windows built-in Defragment app... can't say what some 3rd parties app maybe doing.
Yeah, I learned that pretty quick about those Anti-Virus apps. They're almost pointless anyway. A PC user who's not very knowledgeable is probably going to let the virus in cuz it prompts them for what it should do. They'd be like... well, I'm trying to use this so let it do it's thing. *boom*
The only decent Anti-Virus is one that is just used for manually scanning files and not hogging resources when you are not using it intentionally. I keep a couple just for that. But, they're dormant / inactive until I open them and use them for file scanning. Basically, Windows built in Security is going to deal with everything just fine for 'normal' PC use. Ofc, if you're surfing questionable websites, clicking random links all over the web, you are prone to get a virus. Just don't do it... only click on reputable sites and use a web browser plug-in that checks site reputation scores.
