That said, I think I probably died around 5 or 6 times because he would kill me with 2 hits. (Jedi Master difficulty)... but when I finally beat him, I did without getting hit at all... so he is not hard by any means, just overpowered at that early point in the game.
After that.. I didn't die in any other boss fight.. in fact, I didn't die again in the entire game period.
This first boss was the only time I died in this game on Jedi Master... I probably should have gone to the highest difficulty level, but I thought Jedi Master was challenging enough without getting frustrating.
I came back about 10 hours into the game and granted, it was still a bit tougher than other bosses (no boss after it has managed to kill me once), it died relatively quick.
not gonna lie that side-boss can two hit you all the way down on jedi knight difficulty early on. so yeah that theory is pretty sound.
