As far as i can tell you won't get anything for 100% completion. I really wish this game has steam achievements because that seems to be the only reason to go for 100%

I did 100% completion. You don't get anything. Just collect all ponchos, BD skins, Mantis skins and light sabre parts and materials. I did simply because I was enjoying the game enough I wanted to extend play time. My full playthrough without any rushing and enjoying exploring was 30 hours.. probably twice as long as if you just stick to the story. But no.. you don't get anything and the game doesn't even congratulate you. It's just the satisfaction of checking the planets on the holotable and see them fully explored and everything collected. I'm sure in consoles it may have some achievements for it, but I don't care about that either.

There are achievements on Origin.

Going to wait until a really good strategy guide from Barnes and noble comes along or something that most people can get that makes completion 100% worth it to do it.
What you mean "too hard for most people"... "most people can't get"? It's very straight forward.. your map tells you where to look.

Not really.

FYI there has been videos showing you where everything since day 1

Well mine did. That's how I found everything with no problems. It separate areas in small segments and tells you how many chests and secrets in each of those segments. They are all small enough that you will find it in no time. There is really no need to seek help anywhere else.

Sure at first it tells you where you haven't gone yet. But it doesn't tell you how many echos and scans are in the areas. Only secrets and chests

Not to mention that there are several areas for me that have 95-99% exploration, but I have all the secrets and chests, so pretty much never gonna find what those spots are.

You're missing some echos

The % of exploration of the area indicates you are missing either echoes or places you didn't go. Scans don't count for completion.
Anyway... the map was easy enough to follow where I haven't completed yet and didn't take any effort at all to look around the area and quickly find what I missed the first time around.. either because I didn't have certain skill, or simply because I didn't look in that corner. Nothing is really very hidden.

I'm going for 100% completion if only to get all of my money's worth. The chests only have cosmetics but there are stim upgrades and echoes that give you XP. You will be really powerful, but it is really tedious and you'll have to backtrack because a lot of these collectibles require a specific ability to reach them. Just wait until you're at the point in the story where you get double jump before bothering with it. And prepare to use guides to find them unless you want to spend an hour just trying to find 1 ridiculously hidden chest as you comb the map 20 times over.

The people that put up with that are the same kind of people who will sit at a jigsaw puzzle and work it until completion, often trying the same piece on the same pieces. Not everyone is willing to do that and put up with that kind of frustration.

Although a rather mild point, some people are not better at copying what other people do and would rather read where things are. Oranges and apples.

Not to mention half the chests are underwater on some levels so backtracking is necessary or waiting until all powers and items are unlocked.

Not everyone is willing to spend time watching youtube videos for everything and trying to copy what someone else did.

There can be puzzles which require timing like bogono there is a stim that requires rolling a ball across a narrow ramp, maybe someone out there can’t do it. So instead of throwing the controller, being told where other stim chests are at instead is a better idea, or video/strategy guide on how to do it in one try from a guaranteed method.

Internet videos are mostly for trailers and gameplay videos in determining to purchase games. Magazines made of slick shiny paper that satisfyingly glide across the fingertips made by people that prepared this information painstakingly for their job so that people will have no problems are for finding secrets fast, giving secret strategies that easily defeat the game in record times, getting all achievements, exploring the map, sold from a bookshop that has coffee smells is how it’s done right. Especially in games like dark souls 3. The less time is wasted for people, the better. Youtube is for people that don’t care about a higher experience or just want the information now. Which can usually turn into just wanting the Community to tell them everything for free. And it doesn’t matter to them if the strategies aren’t the best. Because people can usually find just about anything in there, it’s not required to be presentable. In fact, the community might be the guy which loves competing with everyone else, rather than someone paid to care about eveyeone’s experience, so he tells people to do some things which help him beat people at the game. Which is why we ask questions and go to strategy guides.

i asked weither its worth it not how to get 100%, and from what i played and read from this thread its not worth it, the cosmetics are boring i hate that stupid shirt and i didnt hear about any special ending for the game from doing so

Not to the rest of us, the game is still fun enough that, If, with a strategy guide, it can finish it off it would be worth it.

You asked if it was worth doing it all. The cosmetics are colorful and fun and can give people a little more fun out of the game, just like the different lightsaber colors, and there is a DLC-like area on Zeffo to explore a whole new area. Meaning the newness or doing all this is worth it to do it because of the potential of lack of frustration/enjoyment. However, the cosmetics aren’t enough for the frustration of backtracking and secrets hidden too far. If a strategy guide doesn’t solve it then the game isn’t worth the time or the strategy guide for most people. If it does work and don’t see why not unless the strategy guide is bad, then yes it’s worth doing. It’s entertainment.

However the fact the game does nothing for completing everything (which we wouldn’t know anyway since we don’t have it) would be poor, and people that are getting to that should start a new thread and begin complaining. And that’s what we’re going to do. Zelda 64 for example had the golden skulltulas and people received a bigger wallet size and the fun of exploring and finding them all using a (guess, a strategy guide). It also did something to the story like turned all the skulltula family back to human again.

They could give Cal Kestis a new life bar that regenerates for people that collected all the Life and Force Echoes both.

They could give BD-1 ability to take over Droids without damaging them first if he has all the skins.

If collected all the Stims, it could allow Force powers to be free for a few seconds after using.

Finding all Ponchos, gives a Christmas lights wrapped blinking themed poncho and a jacket.

The Mantis awards people with thanks from Greez, and the plants grow a little bigger and look a little more livelier.

Cal receives a white outfit for unlocking all outfits plus jackets.

Filling in all Force Power Circles makes Cal’s Split Saber attacks do more damage and has more Staying power.

And now the game’s higher difficulties should be much more doable. Such as, use stim, and then immediately follow it with force slow, force dash, force split saber attack rinse and repeat strategy to defeat trilla on hard difficulty without effort.

i am sorry but i dont understand, are those are actually things that you can get or you are writing theoritically
