This happens even when I'm at full healing packs.
But if you're in a fight, it "breaks" the sequence if something attacks you, and it stops, even though he says the line. Same for getting attacked. You have to plan healing and make sure it can go all the way to him stabbing himself with the stimpack.
I understand this, and there have been a fair share of times when it has been an attack that has interrupted/killed me. That's not it though. I'll have made plenty of space from my enemy. I'll have my guard down, and it still doesn't work. The only other animation that is playing at the time is, maybe, me walking.
It happens outside of combat too.
Not only with healing, but also with parrying or even attacking.
I did not notice healing not going off without a cause, ie. enemy hitting me or dodging away, but maybe if you press healing multiple times it might break the heal.
I also don't spam keys for any of the aforementioned actions. Sometimes the block action (right-click) doesn't get the character to do what it's suppose to do. Same with attacking.
It's simple as that.
The enemy start it's attack, and BEFORE he gets to hit me, I press block, but the block doesn't happen and AFTER that the enemy finishes it's attack, by hitting me. This never happened in a game like Dark Souls; despite it's flaws on PC, at least the combat worked there 100%.
I can not talk about keyboard & mouse because I only played this game on controller, and would never try any 3rd person action game without it, however, blocks or attacks not going off if you repeatedly press associated buttons is absolutely a thing. Block is also weird because you must press and hold the button in order to properly block or parry. If you just press and release the button, it is very likely you will get hit. This is not 100% as you might time it right but I found it is much safer to press & hold--major difference to DS games where you just pressed for parry.
You press a button that should do a thing that DOES NOT HAPPEN. It's really simple. Multiple people report this problem...
If you didn't even touched the mouse and keyboard control - the place where the issue occurs, for me, at least - why do you need to join the discussion not knowing what it's all about?!
Just...
Not with my license. I'm play Fallen Order on PC.
