Deleting save files, 100% chance this will work for you too. UPDATED DISCUSSION!
Discussion Update: There is no way to delete your save files I just found out but actually there is a way to get rid of it if you want to start over like you've only got 1 save profile. Sign in on origin, select Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, then click on the gear cog (Settings) from there, select "Game Properties" then go to "cloud saves." Disable "enable cloud saves for all supported games" just bare in mind, this will affect other games unless you enable it again later on, Having it disabled will only work for Star Wars and here is the last step. If you find your local save files, so search for the file "Respawn/Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" then there should be 3 files, delete all 3, those are your local save files. Deleting all 3 files you can keep deleting them having the cloud save syncs disabled so it's always local files which means it'll always work, if you have cloud saves for other games, enable it again. No problem, pretty easy to do, hope this helps and may the force be with you along your journey.

Note: I won't respond to any comments, if you need a guide on how to do it, pm me and I'll be more than happy to help step by step :-) Remember, disable cloud saves, delete local save files if you want ONE SAVE PROFILE, it'll be like a completely new game everytime you delete the files other than that, 100% working, enjoy :-D Oh and you don't have to delete the usergamesettings.sav, the backup and the main local saves must be deleted, so pretty much just those 2 files, NOT the Settings file, cheers and enjoy, happy gaming! ;-)

Or you could select "Start New Jurney" from main menu...

You do make a really good point, important thing to be said. However, when you've used up all profiles "starting a new journey" once they've all been used up with saves, you are not given the option to start again or overwrite a save. But what you can do is get rid of the save progress file that you don't want in the game but there should be 2 files. Remove those 2 and if they were not the ones you wanted to remove, restore it from the recycle bin. Deleting the files will give you the option to "start a new journey" just make sure to wipe out the ones you want gone, hope this helps :-) Oh and you can wipe out one profile to start a new journey on the last profile. :-) Make sure you don't wipe out the usersettings.sav file, just the backup and other file.

I am not sure, I can't run Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order through Steam anymore because of EA. If you are having issues launching the game, you must locate the exe.shipping file which is the games launcher which I have already forgotten how to do. Perhaps you can find a guide on it. Otherwise, I have no idea how to disable cloud saves on EA. Sorry about that. :steamsad:

The Shipping exe. file is the only way I am able to play Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. A problem I am currently having besides that issue, my character sometimes cannot attack enemies, the lightsaber is still turned on even though it's on your characters belt not allowing you to attack at all. It's rather a pain to be honest.

For those that are confused about this whole discussion, seeing the game has been updated, you can now overwrite a save at anytime even if you have max saves, you can still overwrite one.

i seem to have successfully deleted the save file but now whenever i begin a new journey it overwrites the top slot like i now only have 1 save file location and must completely restart and cant have more than 1 file anymore please if anyone can tell me what i did wrong and how to even fix it back to original i really need to be able to have more than 1 single file that resets whenever i want to show someone the game from beginning or make a file for my dad on an easier difficulty its just one spot though in game it shows 4 empty slots below it

I'm having the opposite issue. Every time I go to play the game the save file isn't there and I have to start over.
