Epic or Steam

Encouraged by great forum reviews, totally buying this full price for the holidays. Usually I like my games on Steam as I prefer the permanent record of time-stamped achievements (and the occasional game-related emoticon/trading card lol.) But since this game doesn't have any Steam exclusives, was wondering if there was any other difference (performance or otherwise) between the two platforms for SWFO.

Why would anyone would get this or anything else on Epic store is beyond me.
If you're not sold on getting this on steam, get it on Origins. At least you have achievements there and you remove one layer of DRM.
