What is purge trooper armor made out of?

I'm guessing cortosis-infused ceramic armor. But who knows, you don't get much detail with this game. Not even Wookiepedia knows.

Either cortosis or beskar would be my guesses.

If other games are anything to go by, probably cortosis. Mandalorian Iron is probably too rare and expensive.

Well, in-universe there are things that are specifically stated to be somewhat resistant to lightsabers. If I recall correctly, good quality vibroblades are said be coated in cortosis so they can block lightsaber attacks, at least for a time.

Mandalorian Iron/Beskar I believe it supposed to be able to provide some protected against slashes and glancing blows. But if you went in for a full power stab, it'd probably go right through. I think that's how it is for all of the lightsaber resistant materials.

Because clearly the armor isn't made out of lightsaber crystals. Even one lightsaber can still cut the hilt of another lightsaber. Which is not the saber itself (the glowing part).

Although it would be very interesting to see glowing saber armor. Surprised it's never been done. If it is ever done I imagine it would be extremely rare, due to how rare the crystals themselves are. Would probably need a good number for armor.

Not to mention your boots might just cut right through the floor. Also not to mention that it might just cut/burn you every time you moved in it. :-P

From The Mandalorian show we know that The Empire purged the Mandalorians and stole their beskar steel.
