I mean...yeah, sure, but that has not really being going so well. The green, force-immune ape boss is just double-hitting me whenever i make a single mistake and killing instantly. It just feels like i'm supposed to just keep climbing up, jumping down, putting in a few hits, climbing back up and so on, rather than actually fight the thing.
I began to sidestep/dodge based on the final movement in a red phase rather than at the beginning of the red phase. I am very seriously considering lowering the difficulty because in my experience so far--my enjoyment stems from becoming immersed into the universe of Star Wars and the novelty of platforming, rather than its combat system. Once again, this is because of the 1-hit-spend-2-to-5-minutes-returning-and-rinse-and-repeat which could be solved from lowering the difficulty.
(Although I have a hard time accepting it--a harder difficulty doesn't necessitate a more true gaming experience/gamer. I have a feeling both you and I are similar and have a difficult time accepting such.)
There are also two other upgrades you can get for the lightsaber in the game at certain workbenches.
If you're getting one-hit killed, then it might be time to downgrade the difficulty. I know I did. Until I got used to the mechanics of the combat. The game doesn't penalize you for doing that, so no reason not to, if you're not having fun. It's not fun getting blocked progression-wise due to one mistake.
It literally is.
The max difficulty is easy enough as is, except for a very few occasions like those apes.
Its rather a tomb Raider jump and run parkour with some combat.
Souls is rpg with combat focus.
I think you’re just supposed to dodge and use the force attack on its back.
