Curious about lock on

Am I the only person who hates the lock on? I do far worse locked on than not and you can't move the camera properly, which backs into corners or more enemies and just all around sucks. Feels like a handicap instead of a useful tool.

I agree, when I started playing I had auto lockon active and I hated it.... Turned if off and don't use it anymore, and much easier and better without it.

I was fighting Second Nightsister with lock on, lost every time, but won the moment I ditched it. Same about that frog at the beginning. I hate it in every game that has it because locking on to enemy makes me predictable and slows me down. It is only needed for people who play with controller because they can't move camera and press buttons at the same time.

Same for me. Tried it, for a good while, but preferred it off.

i use a controller but only use the lock on sometimes,mostly in boss fights.if there's more then one enemy around its not that helpful.there are certain moves though that if you arent locked on to an enemy you will miss sometimes like the dash attack combo. (holding heavy attack button)
