[SPOILERS] Final Boss Fight Question
So I'm not asking for any tips about it or anything, but is anybody noticing how she's the only boss that basically disregards blocking when you swing at her sometimes? I'll go in, attack her, she'll block, then I'll attack again and hit her as she stops blocking and attacks me? It feels really silly in my opinion for her to basically forget to block in favor of attacking. Especially when you consider the fact that I'm basically cutting her in half, her lack of any attempt to defend herself just doesn't feel right.

Given the fact that she's the only boss that I recall doing this strategy (blocking and then taking a hit in favor of attacking back), it seems like it shouldn't actually be this way.

Trilla is one of the most offensive boss you will ever face in the game, hence great for parry cheese mechanic.

Yes, and Malicos is pretty over-aggressive too, like RiceMan said. They definitely don't worry about sacrificing their bodies for the Greater Good, or is that Bad?

Even Malicos wasn't this bad (from my experience as least). He never blocked and then decided to stop blocking to sneak in an attack. Trilla is the first boss I remember that actively stops blocking to snake in an attack even though she takes a hit. As I said, it kinda breaks the feel of the game having her willingly let me cut her in half to get a hit off. I know that the lightsaber combat isn't realistic as it is, but that just kinda makes it feel worse.

He blocks majority of your moves 1st phase until you break his guard gauge to get 2 hits before he recovers. 2nd phase, he will block the same as the 1st, but this time he would let 1 of his weapon fly to the air and attack you personally with 1 saber and hyper armor. You can parry in the process too. 3rd phase, he still blocks but this time he has 2x combos and a heavy attack that has hyper armor, you are force to dodge this one. Are you sure they are not the same?

I noticed Malicos got a lot more aggressive after each phase, but I don't recall him deliberately not blocking to hit me while I'm attacking him. I usually would combo him until I got the big saber spark and then get a decent amount of distance from him to let him come to me, especially since it made his move where he tosses the lightsaber in the air a lot easier to deal with.

The Trilla fight was also just annoying because practically every time you hit her she jumps to the other side of the room and then does it again and then does it again and so on. That was, by far, the most tedious part of the fight for me. I honestly just blocked her crazy spin attack combos and waited for her to do a move that exposed her, like the force wave or the saber stab moves. It was also enjoyable to use the droid that she spawns to blow her up and deal a bit of damage.

ahh i see what you mean now. She attacks a lot with hyper armor on instead of blocking because sabers actually do serious damage if it was a legit saber damage. She won't block an attack and instead attack as she acts like your saber does no damage. i get you now

Honestly I don't even parry her when I fight her, I just evade her attacks and clap back making sure I'm very aggressive.

I somewhat employed that method. After I realized that it's pretty much impossible to break her guard, I just basically dodge rolled straight backwards and waited for her to use an ability/attack that leaves her wide open. I also mixed in some force slow + heavy attacks to speed it up a bit.

But seriously, breaking her guard is nearly impossible. I think I may have gotten to about 10% remaining, but she just jumps around/backwards so much that it's basically impossible to do so without regenerating her endurance. I'll get her down to half, then she'll jump backwards, then dash forwards, then do her unblockable force wave, and then before you know it the bar is full again.

Just hit, hit, hit, dodge, hit, hit, dodge, hit, hit, hit, dodge, dodge, hit x5..

Aggressive worked best for me too. Throw in a couple of jumps and Slows and a charge attack (dash?) and eventually I succeeded.

Literally the worst fight so far i've experienced. I can be blocking attacks but they still get through with full stamina, yet there's times when she does an unblockable move that's literally right in front of me and i can step by it like no problem. I have broken her guard and nothing happened. Like at all. She just kept on going like there wasn't any damage.

I get that it was supposed to be difficult, but it's just insanely awkward. The extreme levels of senseless unpredictability is insane. While unpredictability is usually good, it's not in this instance.

I was kinda originally scared with the final boss fight, but it turns out she's unpredictably predictable. It's extremely easy to bait her into full on exposing herself. Since her endurance bar is basically impossible to drain, and someone claims that it doesn't do anything, literally the best strategy is to keep your distance, let he do her lunge unblockables, and then just M1 attack her while occasionally mixing in some force slows/power attacks (that was my strategy at least).

I managed to drain her stamina bar a few times, and she is momentarily stunned like everyone else. It's just too much of a PITA to do and not really worth it when you can damage her in other ways.

Her stupid ground pound was the bane of my existence, though.

No joke. Everytime i died, I did a force slow/heavy attack combo to use as much force power as possible and do the most damage before my force bar gets refilled. I would then dodge roll towards her to continue the assault. 90% of the time she'd block, but the 10% of the time she didn't she used the ground pound and plowed over me with it.

I'm also ashamed to say I died to the probe droid at least 2 times because I didn't realize it had spawned and it shot me in the back.

It was definitely a really senseless boss fight. I found the easiest way to beat her was attacking after she did her ground stab and, when I could, slow her then use a heavy attack whenever I had the mana. Otherwise it was aggressively rolling or parrying just go get the force I needed to do another slow and heavy attack. The fight was overall more irritating than satisfying.
