Stormtrooper dismemberment

Hey I just got this game and I noticed im not cutting off any arms or legs and I'm wondering if there is some setting I need to change and if so where?

There isn't any dismemberment for Humans, but tbh it is barely noticeable and won't ruin the fun.

It is ruining the immersion for me tbh, I finished the game and it didn't bothered me at first, but further you go, more noticable and annoying it gets. I can't see a reason why it's not in the game from the get go. How yre you supose to immerse yourself into a Jedi when your OP lightsaber is basicaly only tickle enemies untill they die? It's even more iritating when you see those glowing lines on enemies, not to mention almost instant despawning of dead bodies. I also can't se a reason to make it optional in settings. Huge shame...

Well that is your opinion, but I can't se why that would be the case, this is Star Wars, not kingdom hearts, have you seen movies? plenty of limbs and heads flying around. Also if you have a lightsaber that can slice through metals but cannot plastic armor of storm troopers, that is wierd.

It was known in advance that you wont be able to dismember humanoids in the game. It is clear the game engine is capable of doing so as you can cut off limbs from animals or droids. Respawn made this decision either to fit with a story or to appease regulators in certain countries. All in all, I barely noticed this early in the game and was not paying any attention to it towards the end.

They're no D-Day movies. Gore is rare in SW. People don't lose limbs left and right. Especially troopers. It's usually in lightsaber duels and it's usually character development. Then they get a shiny new robotic prosthetic.

Just pretend the armor is strong enough to keep the bodies together if you care hat much about immersion. But they're all cut up and crispy inside.

Whatever... I not going to pretend anything, it's just feels off when you are slicing droids and bugs in halfs, yet stormtroopers just fly off two meters like they are smacked by electric baseball bat.

Of course they'd have added dismemberment of humanoids but to avoid an R rating they didn't.

So you can't recreate something like Darth's Maul cut in half? or make someone lose a hand like Luke?
What a bunch of *******! The adult payerbase always gets their gaming experiences reduced, it would have been awesome to have a dismemberment option off and on.
As a consumer I will not show my support to his decision , I may have to sail the seven seas for this one.

I'm not sure anyone wants to dwell so much on the human enemies rolling around screaming all the time. I think Luke lost his hand so Vader didn't have to kill him. Vader getting all chopped up was part of the story, etc.
