Bug in the customization menu

I'm having an issue in the customization menus. For some reason, I am unable to access (aka move to, highlight, select) any customization options after the 2nd column from the left, despite having some unlocked. I have tried using mouse and keyboard, gamepad, everything I can think of, but nothing works. Selection is fine all within those 2 columns (including locked options) but I can't go past them. All columns worked prior to an update that occurred shortly after the game launched.

Having just recently started playing the game, I've now encountered this same problem. It only occurs in the customization menu - I can customize my lightsaber just fine, but choosing any costume option for Cal, BD-1 or the Mantis that's not on the leftmost column is impossible.

EDIT: Restarting the game did not fix the issue, but after I twiddled with some display settings (going from fullscreen to windowed fullscreen and changing the resolution), I was suddenly able to use all the customization options.
