Alot of games are not meant for mouse and keyboard. All the Batman arkham series run crap on Mouse and keyboard. Monster hunter world was terrible on keyboard.
This game even states for best performance use a controller. Need to get with the times man and stop that PC ego and invest in a controller.
Yeah, totally agree. Just imagine Dark Souls with mouse+keyboard 😖 Blaming this game for "bad" controlls is like blaming Assetto Corsa (or any simulator game), while you want to play it with mouse+keyboard (or controller), instead of a wheel. Just use the correct periphery pls.
Players complaint too much ( for example ) about micro-transactions but everybody forget that this industry is a business in the first place. The creators have the right to offer via micro-transactions and we, the consumers, have the right to have the option of buying and the option to skip the buying. Ultimately, the consumer ( the player ) is the one who decide if he/she buy the game and buy micro-transactions or any other combination. It is pure business.
Attention folks : nobody opens up a business to go bankruptcy, right ? So why are criticizing this game offers only ponchos and stuff like that or why are we criticizing other games that offers micro-transactions ? If you do not like their offer, skip it and get done with it.
However, I do believe that EA forgot to add some really good robes, a real Jedi robes into the game. I have not seen any so far and that is bothering me. How come Jedi robes were not integrated ? Ponchos never were part of Star Wars series and that is why ( even though I am playing the game ) I have my gripes about this game which are ( and not limited to ) :
- No Jedi robes - ponchos, as far as I know, are from Mexico and other Latin America countries like Bolivia, Chile, Argentina ... really ? Don't have anything at all against those countries but why the creators gave us ponchos instead JEDI ROBES ? Idiots !
- Skills that does not belong to any Jedi like running through walls
- They grabbed skills from other games like : Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Dark Souls and Avatar among others and put all those skills together into this game which is IMHO, a lack of creativity and imagination from the creators
- No Force Jump - you only learn how to flip while in the air which I won't deny, it is helping but is not a Force Jump per se ... really ? A Jedi without a Force Jump ?
- Force Slow never was a skill from a Jedi but the Dark Side, not even Yoda had it or used it in any movie except, Solo' son who is in the Dark Side so why are you letting our character to have this Force Slow for free ( without no training ) and why Force Push, Pull and Jump were not available from the very beginning when we know that any Padawan receive that training as soon as they start dealing with the Force ? As soon as our character regain his harmony with the Force, he should get robes. In the meantime, his first outfit should be fine till he gets those robes but never a poncho.
- If this game did not have a light saber, it would not be a Star Wars game at all. Period.
It is 2019. How are you still playing action game on keyboard. You can connect to PC any kind of controller so there is zero reason to every play this type of game on keyboard and mouse.
"Git gud" I wish. I'm just happy to be able to play.
And this backtracking is just insane. Remember the times when games used to have similar hours of gameplay time but that time was filled with story content?
And why do we get all our force powers back when the game nearly ends? Pisses me off that i finally enjoy combat with all the powers unlocked, and the game just ended.
I'm not a CoD generation but i'm a Jedi Knight, KotoR generation. And I think too that the game has many issues like OP described.
But why is it good to restart without enemies respawning....yeah that's also for me a mystery.
