Enemy golden glow overrides red unblockable attack glow
As the title says. Unless I'm missing something, the golden glow from enemies (namely bosses) overrides the red glow for using an unblockable, and the only way to know it's coming is the sound cue and/or just knowing what it looks like. I know it doesn't matter since doing one point of damage isn't too hard, but it's still a design feature that shouldn't be as it is.

Yeah that was annoying. At least you can get rid of it fast enough that it doesn't matter too much.

It's true. The things that are more concerning are when you're trying to do a boss battle and they have the glow. You can't always get off a hit ASAP, so you could end up getting smacked by an unblockable before you're able to do so.

Try dodging more than blocking when the glow is on, then hit them when their guard is down. Helped for me.

It's definitely doable, but it can definitely cause a lot more deaths to learn/complete a boss fight.

Necroing this thread only to voice my own frustration with this. Just got to the froggy bossfight and being quite annoyed with it. It's abhorrent visual design and should really have been left on the cutting room floor.

Not fond of the slowdown when you land the first hit either.
