Will this have Directx12 support like most EA titles?

DX12 is worse than 11 why do want it?

I know that, but I want like confirmation that dx12 will or will not be supported at launch or in the future.

I have a bottlenecking cpu and I have tested hundreds of games with my rig and it seems to run significantly better on dx12 or vulkan.

This is extremely true about DX12 even if "Windows 7 users whom refuse to go to 10" will deny - but my recommendation is get new hardware. it's an expensive venture, but up your budget because since I went this route I do not regret it and it's basically what I recommend to everyone else. Buy hardware not games if possible.

Neither is worse or better than the other. Developers will not be forced to adapt to any API at the users behest. Vote with your own money and don't buy it.

I know trust me, Ive been wanting to get a new cpu all year. I have Red Dead 2 and that will definitely keep me busy while I save up.

No regrets (well, 99% regret-free) switching to Win10 here either. Once I silenced Cortana and got 10 tweaked the way I like it, I don't mind anymore.

I'm coming to this topic a year and a half later because I googled to see whether this was a DX11 game or DX 12. I have a Threadripper and an AMD 6900Xt... I am getting poor performance specifically because this game is DX11. To echo another user's comments, every single game I've played that has the option to switch between DX11 and DX12... DX 12 with my setup always runs better. DX12 games that are graphically more demanding run better than DX11 games. Cyberpunk 2077 runs better with everything on Ultra than this game and Assassin's Creed Odyssey, another DX11 game.
