Is there any lifesteal?
just curious if theres any accessible way to have lifesteal on all characters, or whether there are just some that have lifesteal of some kind already in their kits?

I'm not 100% familiar with every character, but it seemed like they all had some way to heal if you build for it.
There are weapons that have a healing mechanic, and Kyros can passively spec for his "main" ability to heal him on use.
You can also use the talent tree to find ways to gain shield or possibly healing.
So it is possible to have "lifesteal" or at least healing on every character, you just have to be conscious of and build for it.
No, can't think of any, but there are a lot of abilities which heal you per cast / per condition (weapon abilities, basically entire wingrave kit, venomess heals a lot too, grendel has a passive in affinity tree which grants him health per hit on broken enemy, etc...).
But honestly, just slap a bastion shield on basically every char, and healing will not be the concern anymore.

hmm so its a per character basis. just got niss to lvl 30 and moved onto Lora. Lora seems to be overshield dependant rather than healing. so was curious if each character had their own sustain build niche

Survivalists(Silo, Venomess) have the Red Feast talent that heals them and everyone in the party on critical strike which is the closest feeling to lifesteal.

Warmasters(Wingrave, Senja, Grendel) have the Call to Arms talent that heals them and everyone in the party on ability casts.

Not healing per-se but Arcanists(Niss, Kyros, Lora) have a few talents that grant them shield on different conditions(ultimate casts, ability casts, gathering innervation orbs) that can be quite useful for damage mitigation.

Wingrave has a couple of healing abilities and also heals on combo finishers.

Venomess heals when she stands in pools of poison her character passive and 3 creates, gets a bit of healing on casting 1 and can be specced to get healing when her 2 explodes the pools of poison.

Kyros's 1 can be upgraded to heal a significant amount when you hit with it.

Sejna and Grendel get healed when they cast their ultimates. They both also have some minor self-healing passives or ability upgrades.

There are several echoes that provide healing and/or shielding on certain conditions(The Starcrossed Lovers on parry or block counter attacks, Kindred Heartwood on hitting rooted enemies that get rooted when you fall below 35% health, Wormwood on heavy jump attacks, Broodmother S'ilreth on losing half of your guardbreak, Deposed King on a chance when killing enemies).
