Is there a thief class in game?

I play the first one and had a ton of fun stealing from players. Reminded me of Ultima Online back in the day. Was wondering is they still have that in this game and what else has changed for the better from the original?

It is a planned feature and not currently in the game. I too, somehow, miss those pesky thieves trying to steal from me while I'm digging through my bank. :D *yells GUARDS*

As far as I can tell...there's basically one class: two-handed sword that can heal (some mage) and shoot a bow when necessary. There doesn't seem to be anything else that's remotely viable. Daggers, 1-handed weapons, etc. are all outclassed by the 2-handed swords in most fights.

Heh, if they can keep their players and add in the thief again, soon my reign of terror shall return to pockets aplenty!
