Steamcharts and steamdb count private profiles

I tested this with a friend by loading up a long dead game. After about 30 minutes the user count was 2 and his profile was set to completely private and set to invisible mode in friends list. We then both quit and use count went to 0.
There has been no activity in the game for a year, it was not coincidence.

So ya, steam charts and steamdb are accurate.

I don't have time to test and verify but if this is true it destroys yet another fanboy argument.
