"Completely kill"? How could anyone even partially kill something anyway?
So we can probably expect changes to these types of things in the future.
You are so wrong...
When the game goes live, there will be guilds in every town dedicated to stealing and griefing. You will have to check rooftops and surroundings before crafting and avoid afking anywhere in the world. Theres a natural balance to things though and anti-rpk guilds form to help combat the situation.
Should we be glad that parttime psychopaths and "people with mental backgrounds" found a place where they can be what their "true nature" is and therefore stay out of other games, saving tjose communities from their "bright ideas"?
I would say so ;-)
Players know full well that if they take the time to stable their horse and cough up 1 silver their horse is 100% safe there. They know what will inevitably happen if they don't. Their choice.
From what I gather there are players who are on a mission to kill horses because they get pissed off when players bring their horses into the bank. Some just kill them for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles. It may be a deplorable thing to do, but games that are Sandbox + PvP are full of deplorable things to do. Often it kills the game off, as in Last Oasis, but there you go... games get the players they cater for, but some Devs never really grasp that this is not always a good thing. They should be careful what they wish for.
The amount of times you have someone AFK in the bank or some other place and blocks access to anything, ♥♥♥♥♥ me.
You should have to park your horse otherwise no access to town.
As for the killing of horses, just plain bad forethought and design from the Devs. After so many years in MO1, they know this ♥♥♥♥ but still do nothing.
Maybe they have a fresh bunch kids that have no clue making MO2.....
It's apparently bannable now which is even more lame. Why let players do something and then make it bannable idk.
From the MO2 discord in the announcement section.
It is ambiguously worded tho does it mean don't attack horses with pets in town or don't attack horses in town period...so the intention is up for interpretation ^^
