All resolution options but lowest are grayed out??

Title says it all, I just got the game and was attempting to adjust the settings to something more palatable, but found every resolution option but the smallest one unavailable to me. I've tried looking up why that is but I find nothing but solitaire guides and walkthroughs. Little help here?
