Permakill Infernals?
is there any way to kill these things once and for all? kind of annoying to be chased around by them through the entire mission.

If you get them to break their stress meter, they'll attack each other, which can give you more time to get away

nm I was able to down one.. I think you have to get them to 0HP in a single turn

Actually, you do not have to get them to 0 HP in a single turn. What you have to do is:

- Get them to 0 HP
- The Infernal will now start to float in the air, ready to rise again on its next turn.
- You need to land one more attack to kill it permanently.

If you do not kill it while it is in the floating state, it raises itself with 100 HP on its next turn.

i'm pretty sure I had done this on a number of occasions only to have them resurrect anyway
maybe its a (occasional) bug?

I have not encountered that bug. Maybe it is, but it works fine for me. The infernals are a bit whack anyhow, way stronger than the same tier creatures of the other scions.

first encounter in the first big mission where you got to get the key = i didnt understand how we were supposed to kill them since litterally nothing is said in the recon menu (thanks i guess lol) so first time i saw them i full wiped , fortunately i save just before , i redo the fight, i activated the key, they all spawn, i use the ability to put all 3 down , i got all damage i could in that turn, they got Up, put them down again with a grenade , damage again, 2 of them went to stress mode, i "finish" them with the special ability, did the same with the 3rd one on the same turn (needed a little bit of damage) but somehow the killing blow didnt work or not on them ? so i had to shoot them once again and the fight was over
weird thing is when they got to 0hp where they're floating i shoot them (in my first attempt) and nothing happened, he got up next turn, so dont fully understand how they work and dont know if the killing blow not working is intended or a bug

Its not a bug. You're doing exactly what I did.

You focus it down, and your last man using his last Action point does the killing blow. YAY!

Your turn ends.

Mob Comes back with 100 HP. Boo!

You need to dish out damage so that it doesnt take ALL your actions to down it. You need to have attacks left when it goes to 0HP. Once you do.. they drop no problem at all.
