Fullscreen 'washes out' the colors

Borderless Windowed and Windowed they're vibrant and pop. Fullscreen noticeably is duller.

That's weird. I wonder why that would matter. I hope this is not a big issue, because I always prefer full screen mode.

I messed with some of the graphics settings, then just sucked up and played the demo in Borderless Windowed.

Sadly it didn't grab me and I'm already nervous about Paradox owning Harebrained Schemes. Locking content Day 1 behind a Digital Deluxe version doesn't help. I think I'll pass.

Sounds like this could possibly be related to your graphics cards settings, does this happen when you switch between fullscreen and borderless in other games as well? 🔎

I have the same problem. running a 4090 and screen looks washed out. I had to leave it on borderless. even if i put on fullscreen and restarted the game, it comes back as washed out.

Nope first time I've come across it. Generally don't have problems.

I'm running a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 that's up to date on it's drivers
AMD RYzen 5 3600 6 Core Processor
16 GB Ram
1920x1080 144hz resolution

I DO have a second monitor.

3090 here. Same issue. It looks like HDR layers on top of Win10 auto HDR washing out the colors in full screen mode.

I just straight up stopped playing, game wasn't worth it anyway lol
