Teardown not launching.

I bought a brand new PC the other day and I tried launching teardown for the first time today. It doesn't open a window or anything, instead the play button turns blue (like it usually does when you launch something) and it looks as if it is going to start, but it never does. Instead, it goes back to the green "PLAY" button without ever doing anything else.

I've already tried verifying file integrity, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and even tried switching a few files around to see if anything happens.. and still nothing.

Is it because I am using Windows 11? My old laptop was Windows 10 and it ran fine there, but not on here. If anyone could help me, it would be dearly appreciated!

probably means it is not compatible with windows 11..

I have win 10 and it works perfectly fine. I doubt that it isn't compatible with win 11, as win 11 is basically the standard at this point.

Go to the Betas and downgrade to 1.5, it worked for my Windows 11 computer.

I don't know exactly how, but I decided to wait a while before playing. After waiting, I then tried playing again and that's when it actually worked.

So my boy has teardown 1.6 windows 11 didnt load at all and i did the beta 1.5 and its working 50% of the time. 1st couple of times didnt work fully but now his playing im guessing it has to be patched for pc
