Vox vs Voxbox; What is best performance wise?
Title. Need to cover alot of ground and was wondering what would be most performance friendly to use in the long run. A voxbox with a repeating brush or multiple large vox files?

I use voxscript with a heightmap. I'm not 100% sure how it affects performace though.

Thanks for the link, didn't know they had released a new video. In any case, I'm already using a heightmap as my base, but I can't figure out how to edit the script to create a thicker layer of dirt. So I'm stuck overhauling the entire level =/

Do you know how? The 'hollow' parameter doesn't seem to work as far as I can tell..

I am no expert on the subject, but from what I have found its still experimental. So its likely the functions are still in development.

I found the answear to that in the youtube comment section of all places..

Q: "Ziggy Harding- is there a way to make it so there is a thicker layer of dirt in between the indestructable sub - ground and the air?"

A: "Emil Bengtsson- Unfortunately not. For that you would have to experiment with more advanced height map making, not relying on the ground script.
Maybe I can find time for such a tutorial in the future."
