how do you feel about dlcs?

im kinda on the fence about it. on one hand i should support the makers of the game. but on the other hand im like why should i pay for dlc when there is so much free stuff that is already like it on the workshop already.

If you don't see any reason to buy it when workshop content exists, then don't. To use another game with both DLC and mods as an example, I buy Snowrunner DLC maps because I know I'm always gonna get a good full-featured set of maps, not a single half-finished one with no missions on it like many mods. There are some great snowrunner mod maps out there that I enjoyed immensely, but sifting through to find them is something I do not enjoy. When I have time to play games (which isn't often) I just want to hop on and play them, not waste that time hunting around for mods to play them with. If you have a lifestyle that allows you that time, more power to you. To me the DLC is worth it because I can get something consistently good without having to hunt for it.

It's such a shame that they're forcing you to buy the season pass, I never thought Saber Interactive would do such a thing.

I love seeing people get their panties in a wad over a game adding paid dlc to a game. Like man they gave us an entire 2nd part to the game for free already, they have given us so much and everyone calling them sellouts for wanting to you know, make a living?

Reminder that Saber bought Tuxedo Labs last year and are again owned by Embracer. Even if the devs originally promised to not do payed DLC it's not like they can do much about it at this point. It is what it is and I'll probably happily pay for more official content.

if i was to compare it to something else its like if gmod got a paid dlc but everyone could already make it on the workshop for free. the problem with adding dlc to sandbox games is if its not adding any new functions to the game then it just feels like someone else could have made it for free
