It gives me the thoughts of multiplayer locked behind some kind of DLC...
Worst of all; Teardown is not available to buy individually. (according to the stuff on the xbox website)
(don't really care as I kinda stopped making mods once again)
(I really like putting these huh)
Anyways that's a lot of content right there. Hope people have fun with those expansions.
( my expansion menu is gonna stay empty as it is :') )
gotta love the dlc plague being shoved down our throats.
next up, the multiplayer dlc: go ♥♥♥♥ yourselfs give me money.
Take advice from your own username.
Its a finished game getting more content, I'm more than happy to pay considering I wasn't expecting the game to ever get new official content again and I'm happy to support people who've made a great unique experience.
And like, games getting expansions isn't new? Morrowind: Bloodmoon. Ultimate Doom. Duke 3D atomic. I can go on. Just chill lmao.
Anyway feel free to call me a shill or tux labs alt in the space below
Some additional stuff: if there would be a Multiplayer DLC I'd not buy/gift anyone the game at all. ~30$ plus some additional sh*t is a tad too much.
They said, from what I remember, that the game was done and they didn't intend to do more DLC full stop. From my point of view paid DLC is good news not bad, no-one is forced to buy it.
Overall I would prefer the game continues to get supported by the devs and whilst free DLC is nice it doesn't help the devs to pay for further development.
"DLC" #3 and DLC #4 will be available in 2025".
the good news: steam got a new law in place.
"It specifies that developers can delay release of a season pass DLC just once, and by no longer than three months. In the event that a developer postpones DLC release by longer than three months, Valve may take such corrective actions as removing the season pass from sale or refunding players."
that`s why they`re afraid giving concrete month/day goals for releasing dlcs now.
2025 is the best and only answer there is.
