8 FPS, game doesn't use any resources
Here are my specs/what I've done:
Dual Monitor
msi 3070ti (I think has a factory overclock) no overclock
intel i9-10850k
windows 11
high performance power plan
high performance setting for teardown
0-10% usage on CPU, GPU, and RAM prior to running
directx 12
latest Nvidia drivers
(probably) no bottleneck
malwarebytes
rivatuner statistics server (w/ afterburner w/ no oc)
have tried every graphics setting possible, no luck
at max, I've seen only 15-30% CPU and GPU usage while playing

please help, I've been trying to fix it for like 3 hours now and I don't want to refund the game (cause I know it's possible to run)

For some reason, the default for teardown in NVIDIA Control Panel was to use integrated graphics for processing and have a 20 fps cap. I fixed this by going into NVIDIA Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> Program Settings -> selecting Teardown and changing the bad settings. Don't know why it did this lol.

I don't know if I can tag people in discussion posts, but if you can could someone tag the dev for me? Might be a good thing to add to like an FAQ or something.

Try disabling afterburner and any other overlays you may use.

It is limitation of the game engine, has nothing to do with your rig. Calculating physics for millions of particles will tax any system.

I have awful performance on my gaming rig (That's growing a bit long in the tooth, admittedly, but it's still decent), but perfectly acceptable performance on my Steam Deck so I doubt it's a hardware thing.

Try check the resolution, It was laggy for me too because I was in 3840*2160, I try in 1920*1080 and it fixed the bug.

i've messed with every single setting, it doesn't do anything. the problem is that it doesn't use the resources that my pc can offer.

Disable any graphical overlay if you are using any... like STEAM overlay or Nvidia overlay and see if that helps...
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Isn't it possible to just play it anyway?
