any creative ways to disable the alarm system?
i get it its a core feature of the game, but if for example if an alarm is hooked up to a house instead of GPS on a car i should be able to disable it by destroying the power to the house, a powerline or a circut breaker?

maybe when i do that they send out a single patrol car or security to investigate and i can try and hide from them in the dark for an allotted amount of time all while still completing objectives.

right now it all just seems very one note and hyper sensitive you get CHP called on you for triggering a simple alarm? cmon!

as it stands now it feels like hardcore bankrobbery mode rather than just simple breaking and entering and im only on the 4th misson lol

tl:dr there should be creative ways to disable alarm systems vs the mad dash you do at the end, that should only happen if you make major mistakes or trigger high teir alarm systems that are impossible to not trigger by design or have portable power generators.

Perhaps take more time and thought in using the sandbox to your advantage?? What's with these posts and comments about taking away or disabling the timer?? Perhaps take more time understanding the game, also in which it gives you hints on how to play it.

There are no enemies (in timer missions), you can literally take all the time in the world to prep your heist. The game is designed for you to use your own imagination on how you'll loot and escape before the timer ends.

This is Teardown's game-play, and all these posts/comments just want to make it a complete different game cause they don't know how to play it, and the worst offenders are those who don't even own the game yet demanding features. Teardown is not hard at all to understand, and the most work you need to do is to kick your brain into 2nd gear to figure out how to complete your objectives. It's a puzzle game and you need to make your own pieces in whatever shape and form you want, that's the beauty of Teardown.

For what you describe, you want an enhanced stealth heist game, so Payday has what you're looking for, play that instead, but unfortunately you'll not do to well on "death sentence" cause it'll be too hard for those extra alarm/security tiers you so desire.

I was able to do this by going into data\scripts directory and deleting (or moving) any file that has "alarm" in the name. Makes the game much better, but the helcopters and robots are still annoying.

i never once said i wasen't enjoying the game and i do actually fully understand how to play it so i don't talk down to me like im 11, i really don't appreciate your snobby adversarial tone.

secondly from the trailers the games appears to be an entirely different game than what you end up playing, ultimitely im having fun with the game, and even more so in sandbox mode but had i known it would be like this i might not have ended up buying it if we are being completely honest.

all im doing is offering up different ideas for a potential update, the dev says hes taking suggestions so maybe what i proposed could be added on as a seperate mode
